There’s something special about bringing neighbors together, and that’s exactly what happened at Lavender Meadows during our recent Pickleball Court Grand Reopening!
Originally planned for May 15, Mother Nature had other ideas, so we moved the celebration to May 22. The extra week of waiting was well worth it, as residents came together for an afternoon filled with great food, friendly competition, laughter, and community spirit.
A Fresh Look for a Favorite Activity
Our newly refreshed pickleball courts feature colors inspired by the Lavender Meadows brand, creating a vibrant and welcoming space that reflects the beauty and character of our community. The updated courts provide the perfect place for residents to stay active, socialize, and enjoy one of the fastest-growing sports in the country. Whether you’re an experienced player or picking up a paddle for the first time, pickleball is a wonderful way to enjoy the outdoors, meet neighbors, and stay healthy.
Food, Friends & Fun
No community celebration is complete without great food! Residents enjoyed a delicious BBQ potluck featuring an incredible variety of homemade dishes, sides, and desserts. The afternoon was filled with conversations, laughter, and plenty of opportunities to reconnect with old friends while welcoming new neighbors.
After lunch, the courts came alive as residents gathered for open play, cheering each other on and enjoying the newly reopened space together.
More Than Just a Game
